Our Journey
All parents dream of their child growing up with confidence, opportunity, and success. For caregivers of children with clefts, these aspirations remain the same, but the path may seem uncertain.
With the right support, children with clefts can develop the self-esteem and resilience to achieve their full potential. Our mission is to provide children with clefts and their families the tools, resources, and encouragement needed to make these dreams a reality. Through a network of caring providers, supportive communities, and empowering programs, we help children with clefts build the strong foundation of self-worth that enables them to thrive.
Every child deserves to feel valued, capable, and ready to take on the world. Join us in our commitment to ensuring children with clefts have access to the support they need to grow into happy, healthy, and successful adults.
Speak Up, Smile Bright was born from parents' frustrations with limited access to regular speech therapy. We recognized a critical gap in care: long waiting lists, expensive appointments, and a shortage of speech-language therapists. Eager to help their children at home, these parents inspired us to create a new approach. Speak Up, Smile Bright empowers families with tools and knowledge to support their children's speech development, right where they're most comfortable - at home.
I am excited to announce our partnership with Faces Valued, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and providing support for underserved individuals with facial deformities. Their mission focuses on empowering, educating, and advocating for those affected by various conditions, including congenital deformities, domestic abuse, war-related injuries, facial paralysis, and other facial issues such as advanced cancers or facial burns.
Through this collaboration, we aim to enhance the lives of children with cleft lip and palate by addressing their unique pronunciation challenges. By combining our efforts, we can provide vital resources and support that empower these children to overcome speech difficulties and improve their communication skills. Together, we are committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.
